Just another reason why Mike is the right man for me!! Mike and I got to go hiking and camping this weekend with two of his brothers and leave the kids with Grandma. We hiked to Waston Lakes which is located in the North Cascade Mountains. This Alpine lake we camped next to had a view of a dozen waterfalls flowing off the Mountain side across from us. Yes! it rained on us on the hike in and the hike out the next day. But it was completely worth it. I love doing the things I love with the one I love. (and of course I love his brothers too.)

That is quite the view. You would think that with me practically living on a mountain, we would have something like that. I'm sure we could find them, but living in a dessert has it's drawbacks. You have inspired me and maybe next summer, Sean and I will get those backpacks we keep talking about and go hiking a little bit ourselves.I was an avid backpacker for 4 days back in '92 (girlscamp). I loved it and now that I am done birthing children, I would like to try it again.
